In recent years, Alan has installed a new kitchen and added a conservatory to our 1960s property, again involving the removal of a supporting wall; refurbished a family bathroom to maximize the available space and created a downstairs shower room. Over the past 15 years Alan has carried out a number of building projects for us on two different properties.
On our terraced period property, he completed a loft conversion and the removal of a supporting wall and chimney breast to create a large kitchen/dining area. Both these projects involved co-operation with the adjacent properties which shared a party wall. Alan’s attention to detail meant that all the new woodwork and staircases were in sympathy with the original building.

The most important thing was obviously the quality of the build and the interior and exterior finishes. Alan and his men had all this covered and we were very impressed with what we had seen so much so that we appointed him as our builder on the extensive enlargement and refurbishment of our house. Alan and his men completed the work on our house in a timely fashion.

We first met Alan and his men when we went to look at a new build house he had almost completed. We were very impressed with the quality and finish of his workmanship and that of his employees. Also we hadn’t realised that his contract with his then customer, extended to helping unload the shopping and removal boxes.
